Covert Cargo

GIVEAWAY

REES, ELISABETH
COVERT CARGO

Dangerous waters...

Undercover as a coast guard captain, navy SEAL Dillon Randall is determined to capture the leaders of a human trafficking ring off the California coast. When a woman living in a remote lighthouse unwittingly becomes a target of the traffickers, Dillon's mission suddenly includes protecting Beth Forrester. Yet he can't let himself get too close to the reclusive beauty. The last time he lost focus on a mission, people died. He won't make that mistake again. Dillon must win Beth's trust -- while keeping his identity as a SEAL a secret. However he's finding it harder to maintain his cover around the woman working her way into his heart. Can he save Beth's life without breaking her already wounded heart?

Navy SEAL Defenders: Bound by honor and dedicated to protection.

My Review:

Elizabeth Rees is fast becoming one of my favourite Love Inspired Suspense authors. She delivers intrigue and romance every time and I love the way she achieves a balance between the two. And although the suspense keeps Beth and Dillon hopping, there's still some down time where conversation and confidences flow and I so appreciate the chance to watch their relationship ignite in small spurts. A scrumptious blend of action, suspense and romance (and a dog!)

  1. I have never read this author's books and I would love to read this one! Especially from an author with a last name like that! ;)It has to be wonderful. Thanks for the splendid review, Kav. For the blog I read mostly historicals (but not always), and for a change I HAVE to read a good suspense. They're quick reading and lots of scary fun! Thx for the giveaway opportunity!
